Bowls

The Manor House and Ashbury have a total of 13 indoor 40 yard bowls rinks - laid with Greengauge carpet. We offer bowls, short mat and target bowls competitions throughout the week, whilst our resident coach is on hand for group sessions. All are available FREE OF CHARGE to guests staying at either hotel.

At the Manor House Hotel we have 2 indoor bowls halls featuring 8 x 40 yard rinks. Also available is our Woods Hall, with 2 x 40 yard rinks, which is used for coaching, target bowls and short mat bowls.

At the Ashbury Hotel we have a further bowls hall which contains 3 x 40 yard rinks.

Our bowls co-ordinator can help pre-book all of your bowling requirements. He can also help to arrange any matches – either against other residents at the hotels or local bowling clubs.
